The URCAD advisory committee is made up of UMBC faculty and staff from across disciplines and offices who interact with undergraduate students and have specific knowledge about research practices. Their role is to review student applications and make recommendations to the Director about accepted presenters. In addition, they serve as advocates, promote student participation, give input on the event, and contribute to its growth and improvement.
